In the introduction, write two or three paragraphs giving the background of the organization. Do not use subheadings here. Go into as much detail as you can.
The last paragraph of this section should describe the overall purpose of this project, in as much detail as possible.
The major difference between a “field study report” and an “essay” is that a field study report clearly divides its content into logically flowing topic areas, divided by headings and subheadings. Use as many headings / subheadings as make sense for your report. The expectation is that each major section should have 3-5 paragraphs
Most field study reports are written with the purpose of presenting findings and offering analysis. When preparing the conclusion, you may wish to review the key results from your analysis.
